Our first piece is a quiet tribute to the emotional landscape of Tokyo — an idea born during a solo trip. After many visits, I’ve come to associate light blue gingham with the city’s unique urban emotions: calm, orderly, yet quietly vibrant. This shirt was made to preserve that feeling.
We gave it a relaxed silhouette, with elongated sleeves that let the fabric stack softly at the wrists — a subtle break from the shirt’s usual “neat” stereotype.
But this piece isn’t finished. It’s meant to be worn, reworn, and worn again, shaped by the distress over time to complete the design.
